MiLB ... Wasdin and Redbirds 2-hit RedHawks
Springfield Cardinals (AA): Lost 10-7 at Hammons Field in Springfield, Missouri.
Adam Daniels (1-4) suffered the loss as the last of seven Cards' in a 13-run game.
Justin Fiske started the game, followed by Kyle Sadlowski, Johsua Dew, Marco Gonzalez, Luke Gregorson, Jonathan Mikrut, finishing with Daniels.
Allen Craig went 3-for-5 with an RBI and scoring one run, also doubling, his 25th.
Casey Rowlett went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run, his fourth.
Tyler Greene hit his 14th double of the season.
Memphis Redbirds (AAA): Won 6-1 at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark over the Oklahoma RedHawks.
John Wasdin (7-6) picked up the win, two-hitting the RedHawks while striking out eleven in seven full innings of work. Wasdin walked no one.
Jason Motte pitched two innings in relief.
David Freese went 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles.
D'Angelo Jimenez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, collecting three RBIs.
Nick Stavinoha went 1-for-3 with a triple.
Also doubling were Colby Rasmus and Joe Mather.
