Waino ready: Rehabbing pitcher Adam Wainwright has proclaimed himself ready to face big league hitters, but admits he doesn't know what role the Cardinals wish him to pitch in. Wainwright has stated he will accept a role as reliever or starter, whichever the club needs him to do more.
Wallace adds an A: Brett Wallace has been promoted from Class A Quad-Cities River Bandits to Class AA Springfield Cardinals.

J Davis has lost his only 2 starts and T. Wellemeyer has won the last 2 of his starts. The Cards are 34-23 this season after a loss whle the Bucs are 23-38 this season in road games (78-145 last 3 seasons).
