STLtoday - Cubs, Lilly make good things happen

STLtoday - Cubs, Lilly make good things happen: "But mostly this was about starting pitching. Lilly, who had been 4-2 with a 2.98 earned-run average against the Cardinals while pitching for Toronto and the Cubs, was not much short of stifling."

... Last night's defeat at the hands of Ted Lilly and the Chicago Cubs had, as most games, dozens of plays that factor in to how the game developed, and eventually, the result of its conclusion.

But the biggest factor, addressed here by Rick Hummel of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, was Cubs' pitcher Ted Lilly. Give credit where credit is due.
