Cordish gets green light on Ballpark Village project in St. Louis - Baltimore Business Journal:

... Not understanding the business end of such projects, I'm growing tired of seeing nothing but pretty renderings of the alleged Ballpark Village. They artwork is awesome, though.

If you've been to Busch Stadium during this past season, and have taken a walk around the vast mud puddle project, the vinyl signage depicts the project like some type of palace.

The puddle doesn't bother me, though. Being one of those fans who scrapes for dollars just to watch a ballgame, then has to worry that the Bush Big Oil Company doesn't cause a spike in fuel prices on the day of the game (so I can afford to get there, and get home), I'm not so much in a hurry for mini-city that would cost a couple hundred just to sleep for a few hours and pretend I'm special. Of course, I realize such a palace is not being built for the likes of me.

But for those of you who are anxious to afford what promises to be the ultimate Cardinals' experience, the link below will give you the lip service information we've all grown used to.

As far as the ultimate Cardinals' experience, though, I always thought that would be something like the end of the 2006 season.
