Worrell has chance to walk the walk

Thought this article was interesting, to hear Mark Worrell's statements regarding his disappointment with the Cardinals' organization.

Considering what he'd done at the Triple-A level, Worrell may have had a good point, but often, when someone voices frustration at the professional levels of baseball (as a player), there are ramifications if said person is not in bigtime demand, and I mean bigtime.

Possibly, Worrell will prosper in the Padres' organization. Of course, now he has to prove himself all over again, at least, as he defines proof.

And if Worrell shows he's all he said he was before, all over again, then he has walked the walk.

Boynton Beach's Mark Worrell happy to get away from Cardinals: "Jupiter is just 30 miles from his home in Boynton Beach, but reliever Mark Worrell is thrilled to be heading 2,400 miles away for spring training.

Worrell, a 2001 graduate of John I. Leonard High, will leave Friday to join his new team, the San Diego Padres, in Peoria, Ariz. He's not at all sad that he won't be returning to Roger Dean Stadium to pitch for the St. Louis Cardinals."
