Cards hold on with a dozen to edge Nats

The Cards scored early and often versus the Nats at Roger Dean Stadium Saturday afternoon, then had to hold them off for a 12-11 win.

Huge offensive days belonged to:

Ryan Ludwick 2-for-4, 1 run
David Freese 2-for-4, 1 run

Doubling were: Ludwick, Albert Pujols, Rasmus 2, and Freese.
