Goold Tweets in lineup, Raz news

Picking up a Tweet from Florida, actually, from STL-PD beat writer, Derrick Goold, we have been pointed toward the probable Cards' lineup for today's game vs. the Tigers, found in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch online version, STLtoday.com.

Skip Schumaker, 2B
Chris Duncan, LF
Albert Pujols, 1B
Rick Ankiel, CF
Ryan Ludwick, RF
Khalil Greene, SS
Joe Mather, 3B
Bryan Anderson, C
Tyler Greene, DH

Included in the Tweeting was news that Colby Rasmus was a late scratch from the lineup due to some type of hamstring problem. No substantiation yet.

We see that Schumaker is still getting lots of innings at 2B, that Chris Duncan has earned more cuts, that Ank and Luddy are well enough to return to action.

Also, Mather continues to maintain his new found corner. More catching duties for Anderson; good for him to keep showing value to the squad while Molina had played hero last night in a WBC game.

And still attempting to nose into roster, T. Greene, whose best chance remains in whether he can show as a big stick, considering his age. Still a prospect, he won't be for too much longer if he doesn't nudge onto the big league fields pretty soon.

Cards vs. Tigers today in Grapefruit League action; 12:05 CT.

Will post tidbits on the Cardinal Nation Ticker. Anyone wishing to get un-moderated status on the Ticker needs to request, either on the ticker itself or right here in the comments box.
