Cincy double-figure shutout of Cards at Great American Ballpark

CINCINNATI--GREAT AMERICAN BALLPARK--There was hardly an inning the Cincinnati Reds didn't score in last night at Great American Ballpark on their way to an 11-0 shutout of the St. Louis Cardinals.

Cards' starter Jaime Garcia (8-5) lasted only 4 and a third innings, giving up six hits and six runs (all earned), besides walking four.

John Lamb (1-3) picked up his first win of the season for the Reds, pitching a full five innings. Lamb walked six and struck out six.

The Reds scored in five different innings, including the second, third, fifth, seventh, and eighth. The biggest was the fifth inning, when the Reds plated four runs.

No Cardinal had more than one hit.

The Reds' Todd Frazier went 3-for-5, including a double and a home run.
