Tonight's "magic" game postponed into a twinbill tomorrow at PNC

PITTSBURGH--PNC PARK--The potentially magic game climax for the St. Louis Cardinals versus the Pittsburgh Pirates will have to wait until Wednesday afternoon due to inclement weather in the Pittsburgh area.

All-day rain with more expected Tuesday night prompted the postponement.

The postponed game is to be played Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. CDT, with the regularly scheduled game still in place for 6:05 p.m. CDT.

MLB.com notes this is only the third time in PNC Park history a split twinbill will play, since 2011, with the second "splitter" played as recently as two week ago involving the Chicago Cubs.
