Cain from 1st to home in no time flat sends Royals to the Big Show

KANSAS CITY--KAUFFMANN STADIUM--Lorenzo Cain's sprint from first base to home plate in 10.4 seconds is about all you'll hear about for a while. Off course, Cain's run scored gave the Kansas City Royals a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, a score that would best the Toronto Blue Jays in Game #6 of the ALCS and send the Royals to the World Series.

The Royals earn a shot at the baseball's biggest title for the second straight season, this time, facing the New York Mets, who disposed of the Cubs in an NLCS sweep.

The contenders will take the field Tuesday night at Kauffmann Stadium for Game #1 of the World Series.
